BIC provided project commissioning oversight, protection and control(P&C), apparatus testing, fiber optic splicing and termination, and cable pulling and termination services for the Intermountain Power Project (IPP) under IPSC/LADWP and MJE. These services were instrumental in successfully completing and energizing the project on schedule.

The project included improvements to the IPP control house, the addition of new 345 kV bays, the installation and commissioning of new Substation Automation System (SAS) and Remedial Action Scheme (RAS) systems, and the construction and commissioning of a new 46 kV breaker-and-a-half sub-transmission substation.
